The Parish Council has agreed to fully fund a youth project in the Wheatley Hill.
Durham City Youth Project will be providing the sessions which commence on Thursday 4 November 2021 at the Greenhills Centre.
The juniors is open to 8 to 11 year olds and will be held 4.30pm to 6pm in the cafe. Detached youth work will also be held with seniors.
It is hoped that the re-introduction of a youth project in the village will help reduce anti-social behaviour.
