Welcome to Wheatley Hill Parish Council’s website. The Parish Council has worked in partnership with Durham County Council to produce this accessible and user friendly site.
Wheatley Hill Parish Council is an elected body consisting of 9 Parish Councillors who work for the good of the village.
Council meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each calendar month at 6.00pm in Wheatley House, Wheatley Hill. Council meetings are open and members of the public are welcome to attend, please view our meetings diary for upcoming meeting information. Please view the agendas and minutes of meetings. A hard copy of the minutes of meetings are available in the Heritage Centre located in the grounds of the Cemetery.

The Council has a permanent workforce of 3 employees:
- J Thompson – Clerk to the Council and Responsible Finance Officer
- J Davies – Head Groundsperson
- E Leigh – Groundsperson
