Ryan Carr who is 19 years old and lives in Wheatley Hill is a professional footballer with Ipswich Town.
Ryan was playing in the youth sides at Carlisle United and was spotted by talent scouts who saw his great potential and decided to sign him at Ipswich.
Ipswich have just been promoted to the Premier League.
Many scouts were tracking Ryan from clubs such as Sunderland, Swansea, Norwich City and Derby County but it was ultimately Ipswich Town that got his signature.
This success story is an example to the younger generation chasing their dreams, that with hard work, dedication, effort and determination reaching those dreams is a possibility.
